Terms of Service

Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to register for and use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password, and promptly reporting unauthorized access.
Your information
You retain ownership of the stories, photographs, documents, information, wishes, plans, and other content you submit. EnduringWishes does not take ownership of your content. You grant EnduringWishes and its operator, 7Hills Software, LLC, the limited rights reasonably necessary to store, display, process, protect, back up, and provide the Service according to your instructions. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit content.
Sharing and Deputies
You decide which people can access your information and which features they can use. Being related to you does not by itself give someone access. You are responsible for selecting Deputies carefully and reviewing their permissions. Adding a Deputy does not transfer ownership of your account or information. Deputy access is governed by the permissions configured for that relationship and may include access to sensitive information. Revoking access prevents future access through EnduringWishes, but we may not be able to retrieve independent copies a person made while they had access. Do not submit information you do not want shared under the permissions you choose.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service unlawfully, impersonate another person, violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights, upload harmful code, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service or its security.
Payments, cancellation, and termination
Any fees, renewal terms, refunds, and cancellation rights presented when you purchase a plan apply to that purchase. You may request account deletion through https://enduringwishes.com/account-deletion and the authenticated request flow. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service. We will take reasonable steps to provide notice where appropriate, but immediate action may be required for security or legal reasons.
No professional advice
EnduringWishes is a planning and information-management service. It is not a law firm, medical provider, financial adviser, fiduciary, or substitute for professional advice. It is not a regulated medical-record system and does not promise HIPAA coverage. Consult qualified professionals for legal, medical, tax, financial, or end-of-life decisions.
Service availability and security
The Service is provided as available. We use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, absolute security, permanent availability, complete recovery of deleted data, or that the Service will meet every need. You are responsible for keeping independent copies of information that you cannot afford to lose.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service, ownership, or legal requirements change. We will post updated Terms and provide additional notice for material changes when appropriate.
